Per my previous post my fellow Americans.  That night my partner in missions Rebekah really wanted to go down the side alley from the main road we normally recruit on.  Normally we would avoid these side streets as there are lots of pick pocketers and less women because, these streets are avoided by the forigeners.  Seeing as I trust her fully and Pastor Rueben was with us we ventured off our path.

Immediately we notice a young girl sitting alone on the side of the road.  After a moment of eye brow raising at eachother we go and introduce our selvevs and sit down with her.  She is a little wary of four strangers sitting with her but, very sweet and begins to have a conversation with us.  Turns out that it is her first night in this city and she is supposed to start work in a bar tonight.  I’m just fumbling all over myself to tell her that she doesn’t have to work here!  Please come back with us to Manila tomorrow!  Our filipino friend tells her about our safe houses and organization Wipe Every Tear.  It just seems like divine appointment that we can rescue this lovely young girl before any tragety befals her.  We exchange numbers and hugs and went on our way.

The next day we did not hear from her and then the next, no word.  We continue to pray for her saftey and freedom.  Then a couple nights ago as we were blankting the streets with invitations to the Girl’s Getaway, out of nowhere here she comes with arms open wide for hugs.  She says that her phone has broken so, she as not able to text us back but, she has decided to come back to Manila with us.  There are literally around 15 thousand girls in this one area and we just so happen to run into this one precious girl for the second time.

We are starting to hear back from many girls we have spoken with and networked with.  The flood gates are open.  Please pray for money and sponsors for the girls that will be set free.
